We are Republicans, Democrats and Independents

We are a local grassroots movement that is part of the nationwide Indivisible organization. 

We educate the public about current legislation and policies that affect us all. 

We say NO to Project 2025 and are working to unify the opposition to Trump's destructive policies.

We activate people to speak out about legislation and policies that do not serve all people. 

We hold politicians accountable. 

We seek to protect vulnerable communities and protect our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Our Mission

Indivisible Greater Grand Rapids is a local grassroots movement, run completely by volunteers, that is part of the nationwide Indivisible organization. Our mission consists of four pillars; We educate the public about current federal, state and local legislation and policies that affect us all. We activate people to speak out about legislation and policies that do not serve all people. We hold politicians accountable. We seek to protect vulnerable communities and our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We formed in 2016 to provide the greater Grand Rapids community with information and ways to get involved so that together, we can forge a more perfect union. Now, in 2025 that call is even more urgent as we work together to save our endangered democracy. With legislation targeted to negatively impact every group our community includes, we have every right to be scared, overwhelmed, and angry.

We are, however, INDIVISIBLE.
