Saturday, March 28 at 11 am - 12:30 pm. No Kings Day Protest Sing Along. Join IGGR at the Calder Plaza for a celebration of unity and community in song. Then head over to Rosa Parks Circle for a NK3 rally sponsored by Kent County Indivisible, 1 - 3 pm. Share

Wednesday, April 8 at 6 pm. Book discussion of “Notes on Being a Man” by Scott Galloway. Chapbook Cafe at Schuler Books. Galloway explores what it means to be a man in modern America. He promotes the importance of healthy masculinity and mental strength. He shares his own story from boyhood to manhood, exploring his parents’ difficult divorce, his issues with anger and depression, his attempts to earn money, and his life raising two boys. Hear directly from folks that will be on the ballot. At 6 pm the Forum begins with GRPS Candidate Kim Baron; Commissioner Kris Pachla for State House; Former Commissioner Ivan Diaz for State Senate and Commissioner Kelsey Perdue running for re-election. After an intermission, the Forum resumes with City Commission candidate Rich Griffin; City Commission candidate Lindsey Perez-Plescher; Commissioner Abbie Groff-Blaszak for State Senate and GRPS Trustee Jose Rodriguez running for re-election.
